11 Refreshing Summer Wedding Reception Cocktails

6 oz. of lemonade
2 oz. of vodka
1 tbsp of blackberry puree
Fresh blackberries and lemon slices to garnish.

To add an additional twist, you can add ginger ale and make it a bubbly. This one can easily be made in a large batch for easy serving.

2 oz. vodka
4 oz. Sprite
2 sprigs fresh mint (one for shaker, one for garnish)
1 tbsp fresh blueberries (reserve a few for garnish)

Add vodka, mint, and blueberries to a share full of ice and shake! Pour in a glass and top with sprite, blueberries, and mint.

3. Red Wine Sangria

This one is perfect to prep before hand and serve since it requires a lot of fruit cutting. Serve it in a highball glass or a mason jar for a different look and feel. To make:

1 orange, halved and cut into 1/4-inch slices
1 lime, thinly sliced crosswise
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup green grapes, halved
1/4 cup brandy
1 bottle dry red wine
4 cups chilled lemon-lime soda
Ice

Make sure this one gets to sit and soak for at least an hour before serving. It is even better if made the night before. Garnish with an orange slice if the mood suits you!

4. Cucumber Basil Martini

This one is very refreshing and goes great with a pastel color palette. Most bartenders will have each of the juices on hand already if you let them know ahead of time. To make:

1 oz. simple syrup
1 cucumber slice
1 basil leaf, torn
2 oz. vodka
Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
Juice of 1/2 fresh lime
Ice cubes
1 cucumber wheel, for garnish

In a shaker, muddle cucumber with basil. Add simple syrup, vodka, lemon juice, lime juice, and ice. Shake well, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish martini with cucumber wheel.

5. Strawberries and Champagne

This is one of the easiest cocktails to make. Most weddings come complete with the wedding toast and so champagne is already a planned expense. Garnishing with a fresh strawberry adds flavor, color, and a fancy twist on a very simple drink.

Ice
2 oz. Vodka
3 oz. Peach Iced Tea
3 oz. Lemonade
Peach, sliced
Fresh Mint

In a 12 oz. highball glass filled with ice, add the vodka, followed by the peach iced tea, then the lemonade. Garnish with fresh mint and a peach slice and enjoy!

7. Beachside Peach

Keeping up with the summer fruit flavors, a Beachside Peach is perfect for sipping all night. This light and crisp drink will get your guests in the summer sprit and ready to dance the night away. To make:

2 oz. Peach Vodka
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
2 oz. Cranberry Juice
2 oz. Ginger ale
Splash of fresh lime juice
Ice

Pour vodka over ice and then add juices and top with ginger ale and a splash of lime juice. Serve with a peach slice and sip away!

8. Raspberry Bourbon Smash

This one give a great kick to a summer wedding. The light pink color goes great with a blush pink palette or any other pastels. To make:

1 tbsp raspberry jam
2 oz. Bourbon
2 oz. fresh orange juice
splash of Triple Sec
Sparkling Water
Ice

Pour ingredients over ice and stir to mix. Add an orange slice as a garnish and enjoy!

This cocktail gives the perfect sweet and tangy combination for your guests to enjoy. When making this drink, it is best to do the puree prep-work before hand and keep enough on hand to serve your guests. To make:

1 tbsp Mango puree
1 tbsp Blackberry puree
2 oz. vodka
Sparkling water
Ice
Fresh Blackberries
Fresh Mango slices

Combine the purees and vodka in a glass with ice and top with sparkling water. Garnish with fresh blackberries and a mango slice and enjoy!

10. Mango Chili Lime Margarita

Looking to spice up your night? This is the perfect combination of spicy and sweet that is guaranteed to be the talk of the wedding! To make:

1 ripe mango cubed
1 cup orange juice
2 small limes, juiced
2 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Triple Sec
1 tbsp agave nectar

11. CHILI SALT RIM

1 lime wedge for rimming
1 tsp chili powder + 1/4 tsp sea salt

Combine all margarita ingredients in a blender and add ice. Blend until creamy. Salt the rim with the chili salt and pour margarita into glass. Garnish with a slice of lime and enjoy!
