13 Date Ideas To Get You In The Mood For Fall

No relationship is complete without fall dates.

As the weather starts to cool down and the leaves begin to fall, you might be excited for all the fall activities you can now do with your significant other. So what are some great date night ideas that are perfect for fall weather? We have you covered!

A Corn Maze

A corn maze is ideal for a beautiful fall day where you just need a vest or light jacket. Most corn mazes offer the maze, a hayride, and other fall fun for under 20 dollars a person. If you and your boyfriend love to solve puzzles, a corn maze is right up your alley.

A Haunted House

Do you love to be scared? Or, do you just love to cuddle your boyfriend? Either of these is a great reason to check out a haunted house with your bae. Many haunted houses can be quite elaborate, and transport you into a haunted dimension. Think about including friends in your trip or having a big group date to make being scared more fun.

Nature Hikes

With the leaves changing and transforming your ordinary world into a crimson wonderland, it’s an excellent time to be outside before winter hits. Try taking a hiking trail in your area or hanging out at your local park. Snap some artsy outdoor pics, and breathe in the crisp, fresh air while you can.

Have A Cozy Day

Those colder, wetter fall days can leave you wanting to do nothing and see no one. But, why not spend those days getting cozy with your husband or boyfriend? Put on some movies you love, cuddle up in a warm blanket, and drink some hot chocolate or soup. Watch the rain outside while you are comfortable inside. Pajamas are optional.

Apple Picking

Apple orchards are nothing short of miracles. Crisp apples, apple cider, and pies, what more do you want? Apple picking can be the perfect fall couple activity. Take cute pictures, and then go home and bake something with plenty of apples and cinnamon.

Visit A Pumpkin Patch

Preferably, right after you watched “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.” Have fun picking out a pumpkin that you can take home and carve. If you have children, this can be a great treat that is fun for the whole family. For extra fun, roast the pumpkin seeds inside of the pumpkins for an excellent and healthy treat.

Go Camping

Take a camping trip just the two of you, or with family and friends. Since this is the last time the weather is going to be nice for awhile, you might as well soak it up.

Get Coffee

If you are more casual and trying to save money, why not try a different cafe each weekend? You can go there and talk, read, or just drink some great coffee. This is an excellent way to spend intentional time together.

Have A Halloween Party

Who says you’re too old to dress up for Halloween? Though you can’t go trick-or-treating anymore, you can dress up for a Halloween party. Try co-hosting a party at either of your apartments or house. Invite your friends and have a ghoulish time.

Scary Movie Marathon

Love to stay in and be scared? Then a scary movie marathon is just what you guys need. Select your favorite horror films, get recommendations, or just see what’s on TV. Just make sure that you’ve locked the doors, and have some knives to defend yourself from demons.

Friday Night Lights

Just because you might not be in college any longer, doesn’t mean that you still can’t enjoy the great sport of football. Go to your local high school or university, or buy tickets to see one of your favorite professional teams.

Have A Fire

Do you have a fire ring in your yard or patio? Why not have a fire one night? This can be a great opportunity for you to cuddle with your man, and have plenty of tasty s’mores. For even more fun, invite your friends and neighbors!

A Fall Picnic

Get your favorite weathered blanket, a jug of apple cider, and some cheese and crackers and head to your favorite remote spot. This could be a park near you, your backyard, or on a hiking trail. Spend some one-on-one time in nature.

As you can see, there are so many amazing date opportunities for you and your significant other to try this fall. So what are you waiting for? Why not start to try them out this weekend?
