Fall is such an amazing time of year. And with the falling leaves and seasons changing, there are so many activities you can do with your friends or family. So what exactly is on our fall bucket list?

Make Homemade Apple Cider

Sure anyone can go to an apple orchard and purchase their cider, but why not take a stab at it yourself this season? This treat can be made any time of year but is especially delicious during the fall season. Try it hot and cold to see which one you like best! Check out the recipe here. 

Go To A Pumpkin Patch

Don’t you want to pick out a pumpkin for your house or porch? Grab a couple of your friends and take them to a pumpkin patch this weekend. Have fun looking at the different pumpkin shapes, and enjoying the other activities that the pumpkin patches offer.

Play In The Leaves

And not just because you are trying to get that perfect photo for Instagram. It can be so fun to show your kids how you used to play, or rake a big leaf pile to jump into with your friends. When I was younger, my mom used to make me a leaf house out of the leaves we were raking. Look for unique ways you can spend time with your family and even get some yard work done.

Go On A Fall Hike

Fall is the perfect time to enjoy the outdoor weather before it gets too chilly. Try to get yourself out there and be active during this season. Go hiking with some friends, take a bike ride, or walk your dog around the neighborhood. For those that are truly daring, you might want to go on a fall camping trip. 

Attend A Football Game

Nothing says fall quite like football. Even if it’s just to your local high school or college team, enjoy being around excited fans and Friday night lights. Brownie points if you attend a professional team’s game.

With all the beautiful colors of fall, you’re going to want to make sure that you take a family photo or twenty. If you are newly engaged, this is an excellent time to get those engagement pictures out of the way. And why not have a fun photo shoot with your girlfriends? We all could use another flattering profile picture, right? Try adding pumpkins and apples for a sweet effect. And flannels are highly encouraged.
