The Anolon Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 17-Inch by 12.5-Inch Large Rectangular Roaster with Nonstick Rack is a popular roaster.  It is durable with three-ply construction featuring an aluminum core between layers of stainless steel.  This helps with the heat distribution up the sides of the pan.  The non-stick rack releases roasts easily and also features handles to help you lift meats out of the roaster pan.  This roaster is polished with stainless steel on the exterior.  It is easy to clean. The stainless steel handles are made to be comfortable and dual riveted for strength.  The oven is safe to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. This roaster is dishwasher safe.

Will Hold 20 Pound Turkey

There were multiple reports of the non-stick coating coming off of the rack.  Some called customer service, but only got a recording with information on how to return the product. Though the rack may still work, I’d be concerned with the coating coming off in the food. When people called customer service, they were only able to hear a recorded message with information on how to return the item.

The Anolon Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 17-Inch by 12.5-Inch Large Rectangular Roaster with Nonstick Rack is easy to clean.  The non-stick nature of the rack along with it being dishwasher safe, means you will not be spending a lot of time cleaning it.  If you don’t want to use a dishwasher, just wash it in mild detergent with hot soapy water.  You may want to take extra care  that the coating does not come off of the rack.  People did report that the coating came off.  Use an non-abrasive cloth when cleaning the rack.

No Lid

Unfortunately, this roaster doesn’t have a lid.  This was a common complaint.  People liked this roaster so much and commented that it could only be better if it had a lid.  To be fair, most of the roasters of this type also do not have lids.  But, it would be nice if it did have a lid to help keep moisture in while cooking.  Customers also commented how a lid would keep juice from splattering all over the oven.  Even the people that complained about no lid,  were still very satisfied customers.

This is one nice looking roaster.  I would feel good about giving this as a wedding gift or any gift really.  The shine quality and durability make this very giftable.  There were a lot of comments from customers about how great this roaster looked. I will quote one person that represents how others were also commenting,

“This pan comes out of the box looking almost like some sort of alien technology. It is polished to a mirror shine, is designed with nice curves, and will look awesome on your table with a perfectly roasted turkey or roast beef. All of the roasting pans I used before were either decades old and covered with the baked on remnants of a thousand family meals, or were non-stick contraptions with gray surfaces. This pan is fundamentally different.  In fact, my problem with this pan is that it looks too good. I was afraid of messing it up” the customer said.

The the Anolon Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 17-Inch by 12.5-Inch Large Rectangular Roaster with Nonstick Rack is heavy duty.  Weighing in at 10.54 pounds, this roaster with rack is not going to fall apart on you.  Most of the customers liked the heavy weight to it and the sturdy feel.  Keep in mind, though, that it will be heavy once you have it filled with food.  If you have any issues with lifting heavy objects, you may want to reconsider getting such a heavy duty pan as this.  For the most part though, people appreciated the weight.

My Conclusion 

The Anolon Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 17-Inch by 12.5-Inch Large Rectangular Roaster with Nonstick Rack is a durable and heavy duty roaster.  Included is a coated non-stick rack.  This roaster with rack is easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. However, care must be taken to not use abrasive material when cleaning the rack.  Some people reported that the non-stick coating did come off of the rack.  This is a very attractive roaster.  Of course, this depends on your taste.  But a lot of people commented on how nice this roaster looked.  I think this would make a great wedding gift.  It is shiny and sleek in appearance, and is well made, with the exception of the coating coming off the rack.
