Overall this high chair appears very easy to clean based on customer comments. However, whether or not you should put the tray in the dishwasher is questionable. Here is some advice left by a parent,

“I love that the top piece is removable from the tray.  Do NOT put it in the dishwasher like it says you can do, however.  It seems to shrink it slightly so the fit is tricky.”

One thing that is a must for a high chair, is that it needs to be able to be wiped down. Comfort is a big factor too.  I still remember sitting in a high chair that was solid as a rock when I was growing up.  High chairs have come a long way since then.  They are now made to be much more comfortable.  Here is a comment that covers how many parents felt about the material that this high chair is made of,

“The cover is a fabric material but you can still wipe it down with a wet washcloth to get it clean. Overall for the price it’s a bargain.They could definitely fix a couple things, but you get what you pay for. It’s not the worst, but not the best.”

This high chair does fold up for storage, but some parents  wished it folded up more compactly,

“I thought it would fold up more than it does… the legs just close together and the tray can hang underneath but it doesn’t fold up very compactly.”

Parents seemed to like the features of this high chair, except the fact that the tray is connected to the leg divider and that it does not have wheels.  Here are some comments on the features,

“It doesn’t have wheels which is something I overlooked, but not too big of a deal. Overall I really like the high chair and for the price you can’t beat it.”

“Does everything I needed it to do! Reclines, removable washable cover, easy to clean. Price was great for it to be a full-sized high chair that checks most of the boxes. The removable tray makes life SO MUCH BETTER. Does not occupy too much space, and easy enough for my husband to operate without holding his hand. (ha ha) Sturdy enough for me to never doubt the safety of my very busy baby!”

My Conclusion

The Baby Trend Sit Right High Chair has a lot of good points and a few negatives. On a positive note, the price is low, it folds up, and it’s a full-sized high chair. Though be aware that it does not fold up as compactly as some of the other high chairs on the market.  On a negative note, it does not include wheels and the tray is connected to the leg divider.  The lack of wheels makes it harder to move around.  The tray being connected makes it harder to clean a tray without first removing your child.  But overall, parents did like this high chair.  If you are looking for a full-sized high chair at a great price, then this may be the chair for you.
