Big Lots Buzz Club

With a Big Lots Rewards Card, you can become eligible for a 20% discount on your Big Lots purchases. You will also be alerted to specials, promotions, deals, and limited time offers before they're advertised to the general public. You'll receive email notices of new products throughout the year.  There are some restrictions that apply, such as discounts can never be used for milk, dairy products, eggs, previous purchases, gift cards, calling cards, alcohol, charitable donations, rentals, or deposits.  Each member must have their own membership card. It can't be shared with another person, even members of your immediate family.

How it works is that for every purchase you make over $20, the cashier will scan your card. If you make 10 purchases over that over $20 within 1 year's time, you will earn a coupon for 20% off a future purchase.

Pros

  •  20% discount on Big Lots purchases
  •  Alerted to specials, promotions, deals, and limited time offers
  •  Email notifications on deals

Cons

  •  Lots of restrictions on what your discounts can be used for.  Can't be used for milk, dairy products, eggs, previous purchases, gift cards, calling cards, alcohol, charitable donations, rentals, or deposits.
  • You can only make one qualifying purchase per day

There is a number online to talk to a Big Lots Representative.  I wasn't seeing any major issues with Big Lots customer service.

My Conclusion

Big Lots has some great deals in their stores already.  By getting a Big Lots Buzz Club Card, you will get to save even more.  With a Big Lots card, you will be eligible for 20% off of purchases.  However, these purchases can not include milk, dairy products, eggs, previous purchases, gift cards, calling cards, alcohol, charitable donations, rentals, or deposits. As with any rewards card, it's a good idea to pay it off in full each month. I hope that this helps you to save money each month!
