Fall is right around the corner. Are you ready? From the latest fall accessories to the latest fall trends, we have got you covered. For all your fall activities, make sure you look the part. Here are some of our must have fall favorites to help you ring in the new season with open arms.

1. Layer It Up

One of the great things about fall is the layers. You can wear as many layers as you want without being apologetic. Check out some of your favorite boutiques or retailers to get your hands on this autumn’s latest fashion trends. For starters, sleeveless turtleneck dresses are some of this season’s best-kept secrets. They are classic, yet trendy. Wear them in the office or for a cozy evening out. While you are at it, get your hand on a couple of warm wool dresses as well. And of course, no fall dress is complete without a pair of comfy wool leggings. Once the summer air turns into a chill, keep warm without sacrificing your style by layering up your outfits.

3. Rock The Right Athletic Down Jacket

When the weather gets chilly, and you need extra protection, it’s good to have a nice down jacket on hand. A lightweight down jacket that doesn’t bog you down will come in handy when you least expect it. Be sure to have one in your car or office at all times. Another great idea is to keep one stored at your place of work too. That way, you can keep warm while you are in the office.

We recommend shopping for an athletic fit jacket. Athletic fit jackets tend to be nicely tailored and give off a nice shape. Finally, we suggest that you stick with a nice neutral color like gray or black. This way you’re down jacket will be well coordinated with any outfit you have on.

2. Start At Home

Welcome in the new season right at home. Get your home ready for this fall season by brightening up your living space with some of the best colors fall has to offer. While your flowers might be wilting away, the beauty of your home does not have to. Stop by your local craft store and pick up a beautiful fall wreath to display on your door. Swap out your potted plants for bright orange pumpkins if you are looking for a pop of color. You can even add different variations of squash if you are looking for a nice mix of color.

Finally, if you time it just right, you can make your way to your local garden shop to snag some of this season’s most excellent sunflowers. Display them by any entrance to your home or even inside your home to get the fall season vibe underway.

4. Boots

You cannot welcome fall until you pull out your favorite pair of fall boots. The great thing about fall boots is that the weather doesn’t have to be cold in order to rock them. Pair your boots with a denim miniskirt and a button up or white tee, and you are good to go. Get into the fall season by throwing on a scarf or tying it around your handbag just in case. Our tip for wearing the right boots this season; make sure to have a pair of long boots as well as a pair of short heel boots. This way, you are ready for any occasion.

6. Pumpkin Spice

Need I say more? Pumpkin spice is going to take over soon, are you ready? It wouldn’t be fall if there were not everything pumpkin spice right on hand. Visit your local Starbucks at least once the season to sample your favorite drink with a twist of pumpkin spice.

7. Scarves

Autumn is the only time of year where you can wear scarves for fashion instead of practicality. Take advantage of it! Be sure to have a couple of different scarves on hand so that you don’t have to compromise your outfits. It’s a must that you have a black scarf that will work with any outfit of course. But we also recommend getting your hands on a floral print scarf and a lighter print scarf to change it up a bit. The great thing is your scarf doesn’t always have to be on your neck. You can carry around a shoulder tote or small tote bag, then tie your scarf onto the handle for a unique accessory to your look.

8. Photo Session

Autumn is one of the best seasons to have a photo session in. And it’s no wonder why. With the changing leaves and the mild air, autumn provides some of the best photos all year round. Get your family together or your significant other and find a local photographer to capture the moment. Not only will you get an abundance of beautiful photos, but you will make memories that will live on for years to come. Whether it is a fall family shoot or fall maternity shoot. This lovely season is the perfect one to have it in.

9. A New Look

The changing season calls for a change in your look. There is no better time to change your look then autumn. As the trees and plants start to shed their leaves, it is not a bad idea if you do the same. Consider getting a haircut and getting a new hairdo to welcome in the season. Not only will you give yourself a new look, but will have enough time to rock it before the hibernation season of winter sets in. With so many styles to rock this autumn season, we suggest stepping out of your comfort zone and going for a totally different look.

10. No Shave November

No shave November you don’t have to be the only one getting into the fall spirit. Rub on some of the fall charm on your loved one. Encourage your significant other to keep their beard long and participate in “No Shave November“. Not only will the extra scruff keep them warm during the chilly months, but they will be doing it for a good cause. The goal of No Shave November is to embrace our hair. Embracing your hair is something that many cancer patients can not do. Growing out your hair and then donating it in place of shaving it off will help encourage those who need it most. Help with the battle against cancer by inviting your loved one to participate in No Shave November this season.
