• How Old Is Your Baby?  This is a very important question to ask yourself.  This baby co-sleeper is recommended for infants until your baby is able to push up or roll.  Once your baby is able to push up and roll you should switch to a baby crib.
  
• Do You Want a Co-Sleeper That Gets Placed On the Bed Or Beside the Bed?  This type of co-sleeper gets placed on the bed.  However, there is a number of other types of co-sleepers, including sidecars, bedside co-sleepers, and co-sleepers for toddlers.  If you are wanting something that gets placed beside the bed, you'll want something different than this.  A sidecar co-sleeper is a great option, as it is like an extension to the bed.  A bedside co-sleeper, on the other hand, is like a bassinet. Consider what will fit your needs.

If you are on a tight budget, The First Years Close And Secure Sleeper is a great option.  It is much cheaper than other baby co-sleeping products.  You will need to buy two AA batteries in order for you to use the nightlight, but that won't cost much money.  Overall, The First Years Close And Secure Sleeper is a great option for those want a safe and secure sleeper bed for their baby.

The most common complaint that this co-sleeper received is that your baby can outgrow it very quickly.  According to customers, the length of this product is too short.  Many customers complained about their child outgrowing this co-sleeper in just a couple of weeks.

The width, however, is large according to customers.  Some customers complained about it being too large for a queen size bed.  If you have a king size bed, this product will work. But if you have a queen size bed, you and your spouse will not have much room.

The last major complaint that this baby co-sleeper received is that the sides are not sturdy. The sides are made of cloth and mesh, which is the reason why they are flimsy.

Machine Washable

You won't have to worry about this co-sleeper being difficult to wash, because the sheet and cover are both machine washable.  You will want to remove the nightlight if you wash the entire co-sleeper.  Also, you probably won't want to put this co-sleeper in the dryer, because some customers said it got stuck (if you wash the entire co-sleeper).

"Overall I like this co sleeper. Keeps my baby close to me at night especially during his cluster feedings. He is more likely to stay asleep in this after a feeding than when I would have to get out of bed to put him in his bassinet prior to buying this. If he gets fussy, I can just reach over to him and let him know that I'm here. Gives me a piece of mind that my husband and I can have him close but can't roll over on him. I also like that the bed can easily be folded up and taken along with me if need be. Picture to show size of baby compared to bed. Good for a newborn. Baby is 1 month."

"This was a lifesaver after our daughter was born! The bed has a light on it (which was actually a little too bright for our liking, so we covered part of it with electrical tape to make it more usable), and we left that on most of the night so we could always see her. It did fit between the two of us in a queen bed, but that was pretty tight. It would be a much better fit in a king bed. When she was a little older, we put this bed into a Pack & Play in our bedroom to help with the transition to the new sleeping arrangements. Since our daughter was born small, we got a few months use out of it. I would definitely recommend this for any parents that want an easy and safe way to co-sleep with a newborn."

"I wanted to stay close to my newborn for the first few weeks of his life, but was a little apprehensive about losing him among the blankets and adults in our bed.  This little cot was ideal - we got to sleep together and I never worried that he was going to get crushed or smothered.  Okay, maybe ideal is a little strong. My husband and I had to have to separate blankets for a while, and we each got about 2 ft of space to ourselves with the sleeper tucked between our pillows. A queen sized bed is doable, but this would be much more comfortable in a king.  The walls are strong, the mat the baby sleeps on is firm but still pretty cozy, and only yesterday, at 7 weeks, did he ever slip out (and that was just a foot - he has developed a preference for sleeping perpendicular to whatever adults he is sleeping on/ near).  The overhead light has a loud click and is sometimes hard to turn on, and when you do turn it on you get a bright white halogen light, but it's better than nothing. Hopefully future versions will incorporate a softer light that doesn't wake everyone up.  All in all, I'm really happy I went with this model and I've gotten a lot of good use out of it."
