Are you tired and frustrated with the time it takes to get your baby's bottle or your milk temperature just right? You are not alone. And as moms ourselves, we realize how little time you have in a day. Any moment that you are able to get back is definitely worth it. That is why you may want to consider investing in a bottle warmer. In today's article, we will be reviewing the First Years Quick Serve Bottle Warmer.
The First Years Quick Serve Bottle Warmer warms breast milk, formula, and baby food jars. This product works with most wide, narrow, angled, and disposable bottles. To warm the bottle, simply add water with the included measuring vial. The bottle should then be done in a few minutes. For added safety, there is an auto shut-off. When the light goes off, the warming is done. A basket is also included for you to sterilize pacifiers. This is BPA free. The bottle is not included.

Water Amount Is a Guessing Game
A common complaint for this bottle warmer was about getting the water amount correct. Also, the amount of time that it took to fill up the water vials multiple times to get the amount right was a pain for some people. Here is one of the water level comments,
"I'm tired of putting a bottle in for it to be cold still when I take it out and then putting in the next level of water the next time for the milk to be scalding hot! I just want to reliably heat a bottle of milk to the right temperature, but unfortunately, that's going to take a lot of experimenting with water (not my precious breast milk) when my baby isn't hungry because trying to guess what amount to use with a hungry screaming baby is not pleasant for anyone involved."
A lot of people purchased this bottle warmer because of the great price. Let's face it, sometimes many of us buy something just for the price. This bottle warmer is very low priced compared to other bottle warmers. You will get what you pay for, so don't expect the quality to be as high as some of the more expensive warmers on the market. Here is what one customer had to say about the price,
"For us, the price offset the couple days of inconvenience figuring out the correct amount of water to add. This product isn't perfect, but if your willing to experiment a little it will do the job well."
A common complaint about this bottle warmer was that an orange/burnt residue formed on the bottom. Here is one of the many complaints about this issue,
"It constantly gets brown/rusty and smells burnt!...I will clean it and it comes right back. Gets burnt brown residue all over the plastic basket pieces and the whole bottom of the warmer. This shouldn't happen to a product designed to have water heated in it multiple times per day.
The First Years Quick Serve Bottle Warmer is an inexpensive bottle warmer that may do the trick for you for heating up bottles. However, you do get what you pay for. There were many complaints about a smelly brown residue that forms on the bottom of this bottle warmer. Also, many found it to be a guessing game as to how much water to add. If you can get through these issues, you may find it gets the job done. The price is definitely a selling point. I hope that my review of the First Years Quick Serve Bottle Warmer can help you decide if it is the right bottle warmer for you!
