Will you have specific cocktails at your wedding reception? Tired of the same old song and dance for the wedding scene and their cocktails? Every wedding you go to, they serve the same drinks and dance to the same songs… Well, we can more than likely help you with both of those issues, but today, we are here to help you with finding some different cocktails to fall in love with!
His
Rum and Coke
You will nee:
1.75 oz of Rum
4 oz of Coke
Lime wedge to garnish
The main ingredient is… You guessed it! Rum! Pour your rum into a glass over ice followed by Coke. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Bathtub Gin
This cocktail is for the more personal groom. This is a homemade gin and it will be more of a process. The alcohol that you will need 8.5 oz of Smirnoff Vodka, 3.75 oz of Trebianno White Wine. The other items that you will need will be:
3 grams of Cilantro (The stems and the leaves)
3 grams of Fresh marjoram
3/8 oz of Fresh lemon or lime peel
Around 15 Juniper Berries
Around 4 Cardamom pods (crushed)
About 10 White peppercorns
2.5 teaspoons of Sugar!
Play with your ingredients until you get the taste that you like! Combine all the ingredients in a pan, place over high heat until bubble appear, move the heat down to medium and let it steep for a couple of minutes. Remove from heat and place in your desired container. You must wait 24 hours before you can try it!
Cucumber Gin Cooler
You will need:
8 oz of gin
8 tablespoons of fresh lime juice (this is about four limes)
A half a cup of thinly sliced cucumbers
Tonic water
Lime wedges for a garnish
In a cocktail shaker you will need to combine gin, lime juice, slices of cucumber, and ice. Shake for 1-2 minutes, pour into ice filled glass. Top with tonic water and garnish with a lime or a lemon.
The Dalmatian
You will need:
1/4 cup of crushed black peppercorns
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
1.5 oz of your choice of vodka
3 oz fresh grapefruit juice
This is a two part drink. First you must make the black pepper syrup. To make the syrup, you must place the sugar, water, and the pepper corns in a small pot and boil. Stir only once or twice. Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and let it cool. Depending on how “hot” you would like your cocktail to be, you can leave the peppercorns for a short amount of time before you stain them out.
To make the actual drink, you will combine in a shaker, the black pepper syrup (with the peppercorns removed!), vodka, grapefruit juice, and ice. Shake for about a minute and place into ice filled glass.
Orange Crush
You will need two cups of ice cubes, 2 oz of orange flavored vodka, 1 oz of triple sec, 2 oranges (juiced), a splash of lemon-lime soda (optional).
Combine vodka, triple sec, and orange juice over ice. Top with lemon-lime soda, if you so choose, and garnish with orange slices!

Blueberry Mojito
You will need:
Blueberries (about 8-10 per cocktail)
2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice
2 teaspoons of sugar
Fresh mint leaves (about 8-10 per cocktail)
2 oz. of rum
1 cup of ice
2 tablespoons of club soda
Lime slice to garnish
Add blueberries, lime juice, sugar, and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. You will need something to smash the mint into the lime and sugar. This will bring out the flavor in the mint, break up the blueberries, and help the sugar dissolve into the lime juice.
Add the rum and stir well. Pour into glass over ice, leaving room for club soda. Garnish with blueberries, mint leaves, and a lime slice.
Grapefruit Mimosa
You will need:
4 tablespoons of Triple Sec
Half a cup of freshly squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice
2 cups of champagne
1 Slice of ruby red grapefruit cut into quarters.
This will make four! In four Champagne flutes, place 1 tablespoon of Triple Sec, top with 2 tablespoons of grapefruit juice, and 1/2 cup of champagne. Garnish with a wedge of grapefruit!
Ginger Gold Rush
You will need:
1.5 oz ginger liqueur
1 oz bourbon
.5 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
Brandied cherry for a garnish
Place the brandied cherries in the bottom of a glass. Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain over the cherries. Enjoy!
Raspberry Rose Collins
You will need:
3 oz dry gin of your choice
1 oz. simple syrup
1 oz. lemon juice
6-10 raspberries
Seltzer water to top
In a shaker, combine gin, ice, simple syrup, raspberries, and lemon juice. Pour into a glass, add soda water to fill, garnish with extra raspberries.
Strawberry Moonshine Julep
You will need:
2 large ripe strawberries, washed and cut into quarters
2 teaspoons of sugar
3-5 fresh mint leaves
2 oz moonshine or whiskey
A half an ounce of lemon juice
Combine cut strawberries, sugar, and mint leaves in cocktail shaker. Stir and let stand until the strawberries become softened (this can take up to ten minutes). Add you choice of either moonshine or whiskey, lemon juice, and ice to fill the shaker. Shake. Pour into glass, add more ice if needed, and garnish with a mint sprig!
