I've looked at the reviews and answered questions in detail, and wrote up this condensed article. I hope that this helps you in choosing a baby swing.
There are straps included to keep your baby in. However, I was reading some safety concerns with the Ingenuity Comfort 2 Go Portable Swing . Here is one of those comments,
"Do not buy this if you have other small children or pets. The top mobile part doesn't even secure in place and is easily knocked off right onto baby! It's a disaster waiting to happen!"
Unfortunately this swing did not get good reviews in the durability category. Here is one of the customer comments on durability,
"Not super sturdy and can get loose when folding up and taking back down again. Mine is wobbly now after dropping it once only from one foot in the air."
And another comment,
"This swing feels very flimsy, I wasn't comfortable putting our baby in it, so I returned it."
Apparently this swing is also a battery hog. A good portion of the comments left, wrote about how the batteries needed replaced very often.
The Ingenuity Comfort 2 Go Portable Swing is a portable and compact swing. Parents who plan on moving this swing from room to room, or plan on traveling with it should like this size. Some swings are so bulky that it makes moving them very hard. This is not the case with this swing. Here is a comment on the size of this swing,
"My son loves this swing. I love the size. Wish it was a plug in one but okay with it not being one."
The features sound good for this swing, but unfortunately, the swing doesn't work too well. When I come across a small percent of comments that say something negative, I put it in perspective against the positive comments. But unfortunately, this swing did have a lot of negative comments on the features not working properly or not working at all. Here is just one of those comments,
"We ordered 2 of these... the first one arrived and it didn't work. The speed and music control buttons didn't work and wouldn't swing beyond level 1. We sent it back and got a replacement because we really liked the looks and the fact that it was easy to travel with. The 2nd one didn't work either. We had read in the instruction manual that if batteries are low the swing and music may not work properly so we bought new batteries but still it did not swing past level 1 and the music didn't work at all. It also made a terrible squeaking sound when it did swing. Packaged it back up and sent it back. Needless to say we will not be ordering another."
The Ingenuity Comfort 2 Go Portable Swing is a questionable purchase. Some customers did like it, and also liked that the price was not as high as some of the larger swings. However, the durability is questionable. There were many comments left that said this swing either arrived not working or broke after just a couple of weeks. Also, it does require a lot of battery juice to operate. So if you decide to purchase this swing, make sure to have extra batteries on hand. I hope this review helps you as you look to purchase a baby swing.
