Are you tired of milk letdown ruining your shirt or your day? Then it may be time to invest in some quality nursing pads. Today we are reviewing the Johnson’s Nursing Pads 60 Count.

The Johnson’s Nursing Pads 60 Count has a special polymer core, which wicks moisture and locks it away so that you, as well as the nursing pad, stay dry.   It also allows air to flow to the skin.  The breathable protective backing keeps clothes dry.  It has a contour shape, as well as adhesive tape that will keep the pad in place.  It has soft, cushion lining. No Plastic Backing Is Nice

Some nursing pads have plastic backing to further prevent leaking onto your clothes.  However, some people don’t care for the plastic backing.  For one thing it cuts down on the breathability factor.  Here is what one lady had to say about these nursing pads,

“This is the only brand of disposable nursing pads I could find that didn’t have plastic backing – recommended by my Bradley Method instructor.”

Great Price

You will get 60 pads for a great price.  Many people originally bought these only for the great price, and ended up liking them very much.  A customer shared this about the price,

“Also the price is good considering that if you are nursing you need many of these.”

Nipple Imprinted on Pad

These nursing pads have a nipple imprinted on the pad.  There were a lot of comments, mostly negative about this feature.  Here is one of them,

“The shape might fit smaller cup sizes but for me being a size D in addition to being engorged the pads didn’t fit comfortably. The real awkward part is the little nipple Johnson decided to imprint on the pad. I don’t know what significance the imprint makes besides just being ridiculous.”

Adhesive Strips Get Mixed Reviews

There are adhesive strips on these pads to help keep them in place.  The strips got mixed reviews.  Some people found the strips to be beneficial while others didn’t think the strips worked too well.  Here is what one person had to say about the strips,

“The small adhesive strip adheres well in general, unless you’re folding/bending the pad within your garment for frequent feedings. In which case, they tend to stay in place fairly well, but I’ve had to re-position them multiple times post feeding.”

My Conclusion

The Johnson’s Nursing Pads 60 Count are a reasonably priced set of disposable nursing pads. These pads have no plastic backing which many customers found to be a good feature. There is a nipple imprinted on the pad for some reason, which makes it noticeable if you are wearing a thin shirt.  There are adhesive strips to keep the pads in place.  The strips got mixed reviews I hope that my review of the Johnson’s Nursing Pads 60 Count can help you decide if this is the right nursing pad for you to try!
