Not A Dry Eye in the House: Why We Love This Surprised Bride So Much

There is nothing more heart whelming than hugging someone you love on your wedding day. Whether it be a family member, a best friend, or a bridesmaid, hugs are wonderful and can make a person’s day. It can especially make a bride’s day. But for many brides, they are not able to hug someone they love the most on their special day, whether it be a deceased relative, someone who lives very far away, or a sibling in the army.

This was the case for bride Sarah.

 

 

But little did she know the surprise she was in for.

It was the night before Sarah’s wedding. She dreadfully read the letter from her brother Daniel that stated that he would be unable to make it home for her wedding. Daniel is a marine, and therefore was not allowed on leave, even to attend his own sister’s wedding.

As you can imagine, Sarah was incredibly upset. It states that she cried in her mother’s lap, wishing her brother could be there. Her brother and her best friend.

Last minute, Daniel was release on a one day leave, and he immediately made his way to his sister’s wedding, hoping to still get there on time for her big celebration. Not changing or anything, he headed straight to the venue to surprise his sister.

And her reactions that follow, are priceless.

 

 

It is hard to imagine a wedding without someone whom you care about deeply. And the reality is, many brides have to face their special day without the person they wanted there, whether it be a relative or a loved on serving in the military. So cherish every moment you have, and take a moment to thank those families who suffer every day from not seeing their siblings, spouses, or children because they serve this safe country we live in.

And thank Sarah and Daniel for these wonderful moments captured on camera. Because they are pretty great as well.
