Looking for the perfect sippy cup for your family? Then the Nuby 2-Pack No-Spill Cup with Flex Straw may be for you!
The Nuby 2-Pack No-Spill Cup with Flex Straw is made for children one year old and up. This product has a Touch Flo straw valve, which means that it requires a squeeze and suck in order for the child to drink. The valve is what creates the no-spill feature. The valve will open when the child applies pressure and drinks through the straw. It has a soft silicone straw that is gentle on tender gums and teeth. The straw is clear and easy to clean.
It has a nice shaped base that allows little hands to hold onto. Keep in mind that the colors will vary on this product. When you order, you will receive one of the following sets: Yellow and Green, Blue and Orange, Pink and Purple, or Blue and Green.

What Other People Are Saying
As of this writing there were 615 customer comments and 26 answered questions for the Nuby 2-Pack No-Spill Cup with Flex Straw. I've read through the customer feedback and then condensed the results into this review. I hope that this helps you when shopping for a sippy cup.
For Babies, Maybe Not Toddlers
These cups seem designed for babies and not so much for toddlers according to parents. A parent explained,
"I do like how these cups "don't leak" like other straw cups with the "flip" closure BUT have you tried to drink out of one as an adult?! I had to semi bit the straw to get liquid out at a faster pace. My son is 2.5 and seems frustrated with the cup.
Hard To Clean
There were some comments about how this cup is hard to clean. It has a two part straw. A parent explains their frustration with the design,
"Purchased a couple different kind of sippy cups with straws for my youngest. These were definitely not my favorite. The straw is in two parts. One part is attached to the lid and the other sticks in the bottom. They have to suck pretty hard to get any liquid out. It definitely doesn't spill, but definitely not a good fit for our little one as far as ease of use and cleaning."
Not For Elderly
Some caregivers find that sippy cups work well for the elderly and those who have dentures. However, this sippy cup doesn't work too well for adults because it is hard to suck enough liquid out of the straw. This has been a common complaint. I'll share one comment that many also expressed,
"Bought for elder person with no teeth nor dentures... She cannot tilt head back with regular cups when drinking. The liquid was difficult to get out of straws. She is 80, could not get suctioned liquids out."
Good Transition To Cup, But Inner Straw Hard To Use
The most common complaint I found for the Nuby 2-Pack No-Spill Cup with Flex Straw was that the inner straw made drinking from the cup difficult. Here is one of the complaints,
"Within 24 hours my twins had both figured out how to drink from the straw but only with the clear inner straw extension removed and the bottle tilted back like a baby bottle. They didn't immediately pick up on how to suck fluid up with the inner straw extension in and the bottle sitting right side up, but I'm happy with how we're using it for now. It's an easy transition from nipple bottles and we can always try the inner extension straw again later."
The Nuby 2-Pack No-Spill Cup with Flex Straw comes as a two pack. The reviews left by customers reflected that it's good as a transition cup, but not so much for toddlers or older children. The inner straw seems to be an issue, because it is hard to suck out enough fluid to drink at a time. The fact that it has double straws also makes it harder to clean. Other than that, a lot of people did like this cup for their babies who were transitioning from a bottle to a cup. Many people chose not to use the inner straw. I hope that this review can help you decide if you should give the Nuby 2-Pack No-Spill Cup with Flex Straw a try!
