The Nuna LEAF Curv Baby Seat is quite an interesting seat. It is was inspired by the carefree float of a leaf just catching the breeze. This seat is also a work of art in its construction. It weighs 44.1 pounds and is built to hold up to 130 pounds. A gentle push will keep the seat moving for approximately 2 minutes. There are no batteries, no cords, or any kind of man-made buzzing sounds.
Best Features of The Product
From what I've learned about the Nuna LEAF Curv Baby Seat, it is very safe. There are no hard edges. The base is very wide so you won't have to worry about it tipping over with your child in it. Not all baby seats are safe. With this wide base and the sturdy and heavy materials that it's made from, I don't see how a baby could get hurt in this seat. Of course remember to always keep an eye on your baby.
At 44.1 pounds, this seat is very durable. One of the other seats I reviewed was so cheaply made that it was breaking, and babies were falling out and toppling over. So one thing is for sure, if you decide to fork out the big bucks on this seat, it really should last for a very long time.
This may not be the seat that you will want to travel with. At just over 44 pounds, this is going to be too heavy to move. Most of the other brands of baby bouncers were lightweight and could move easily. This not to say that you can't travel with it. Just be prepared to carry around a heavy piece of furniture.
The price of the Nuna LEAF Curb Baby Seat is sky high. There is no way to beat around the bush on this topic. However, I do think you are getting a very durable and quality baby bouncer. If price is not an issue, then I'd say go for it.
There doesn't seem to be any information online about the size of this seat. I did look at a video and also photos, and would estimate that it is about the size of most other bouncer seats. Possibly it's a bit larger, and definitely at a whopping 44.1 pounds, it is heavier.
I'd say the best feature that sets this baby bouncer apart from the others, is that it's quiet, non-electronic, and has about a 2 minute manual rocking motion when gently pushed.
One other interesting feature about this seat, that I watched on a video, is that the colors and shape of it make it look like a regular piece of furniture. One person on a video mentioned that when you walk in a house with a newborn, you will see baby stuff all over the place. This seat doesn't stand out as just another piece of baby equipment. I would think some people would appreciate the looks of this seat.
I really liked this baby seat. It seems to be the most durable of all the seats I've reviewed, in my opinion. I also like that it's quiet and comfy looking. With being able to hold up to 130 pounds, you don't have to worry about your baby outgrowing the maximum weight recommendation. The down sides to the Nuna LEAF Curv Baby Seat, is going to be the high price and weight. Because it weighs so much, it will be hard to transport easily. Other than that, if you don't mind spending the money, this seat looks like a winner to me. I hope my review helps you as you look to purchase a baby bouncer in the future.
