We all know that planning a wedding can be tedious. All those little details that take the most time can be the ones that pay off the most. But what about the one of the biggest roles that may have the smallest of details? The seating chart! How do you let your guests know where they’re going to sit?
Start off by organizing your guest list using color tabs to differentiate which guest belongs to who; color-coat your family, their family, friends and bridal party… or whichever works best for you. Number the circles, representing each table number, and place your sticky tabs around. This make your seating chart available at a glance and you’ll know exactly where everyone belongs.
Now that you’ve got your people where they need to be, pick your crafty and classic way of displaying where everyone is to be seated! Have fun making your beautiful display or make it easy on yourself and buy it; Either way, your display will be gorgeous!
Windows with handwritten scroll are very classy and simple; A gorgeous way to show off your talents and an easy way to show off your guest list! This method also goes with any theme or decor that you’ve got going on planned for your big day.
“Wood’nt” It Be Nice?
Woodland dream or a winter wonderland theme would be perfect for these place cards holders! Super sweet, yet rustic at the same time! Remember if you use place cards, you will have to print one out for each guest, whereas if you do a display you only have to print out the number of tables you have, you’ll not only save time, but money as well!
Picture frames are a great way to frame the people that mean the most to you, well their name anyway, whether you utilize multiple frames or just one big one!
Clothespins are an easy way to attach your simple place cards or your tables! Tip: Use paint chips that match your color scheme, they have easy cut lines, cut them out, write your guests names on them, and pop those babies up there with clothespins.
Palates, Plants, and Platters…
Palates can be repurposed into almost anything, why not use them in their natural state? Enhance them with your decor and spice them up with your own technique! Platters are great at making a place look more fancy, especially with your elegantly scripted place cards. And plants have names, why not rename them into something more than just their correct name? Place your guests names in there along with their table number!
Banners, Bullseye, and Books…
Cute, easy, and fun ways to show off your guest list, surely they will be the talk of the town when they see your crafty display!
