Eat Mor Chikin: Why and How Chick-fil-A Should Be in Your Wedding

“I’ll have an original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich meal please, with waffle friends and a lemonade. Oh, and can I have like three Chick-fil-A sauces please? Oh, and maybe a ranch!”

This is literally me every time I hit up my favorite fast food restaurant. In fact, I do not even consider Chick-fil-A fast food, that is how much I love that place. I consider it real food. And it is a good thing that the closest one is almost thirty minutes away because there is no way my body would be able to handle Chick-fil-A every time I passed it on the way to work.

If you are not obsessed with Chick-fil-A, there are two things I suggest for you. The first thing is learn to be obsessed with it because it is so amazing. Seriously, I will pray for you. And the second thing to do is not judge the Chick-fil-A lovers who might actually do some of these things on their own wedding day. Because you do not call yourself obsessed, you would never understand the motives and their passion for Chick-fil-A nuggets.

But if you are obsessed with Chick-fil-A, and more specifically if you are getting married soon, there are also two things I suggest for you. But before that, let us cover “why” you should have Chick-fil-A somehow in your wedding.

Never mind, there is no necessary explanation.

Anyway, the first suggestion is to go eat some right now because you are probably stressed and need a break. Just being honest. And second, read on to find out cool ways that you can have this wonderful slice of heaven on earth we call Chick-fil-A on your big day.

1. Catered by Chick-fil-A!

If you are truly a Chick-fil-A activist, then you will definitely have your wedding catered by them! Get a whole bunch of your favorite nuggets and dipping sauces for appetizers, or order a full blown meal with your favorite sandwiches! Besides, your wedding may be the only time some guests can truly say that they have had Chick-fil-A on a Sunday. So that’s a plus.

2. Post Ceremony Pit Stop.

After you and your other half just got married, on the way to the reception, make a quick pit stop to your favorite chicken joint as husband and wife. Honestly, Brittany and Shawn’s photos above are an exact representation of true love, for each other and for food! I am seriously crying tears of joy at the first photo, and tears of pure laughter at the second photo. Whether it be pictures of you shoving Chick-fil-A in your mouth at the reception, an engagement session while eating your favorite meal, or getting the little cow in like the picture above, capturing these moments with your favorite food is definitely a must-have.

4. Cow Faces or Fans?

I am not going to lie, this picture is scary and terrifying. BUT SO AWESOME AT THE SAME TIME. This bride is a genius, seriously! Now if she was not expecting this, it might be a little more creepy for her to come down the aisle and see this. But overall, turning the Chick-fil-A cow into a fan to keep your guests cool is a funny and unique idea. Not to mention it gives the guests a sneak peek as to what is coming for dinner later on in the day.

5. Pre-Honeymoon Pit Stop.

Maybe you really love Chick-fil-A, but your groom or parents had other ideas for the catering, engagement photos, or whatever else you may have wanted Chick-fil-A related. Then why not grab a quick bite to eat on the way to your honeymoon? This is also a really good idea because many times the bride and groom do not get a chance to eat a whole lot because they are busy walking around and talking to their guests, friends, and family. So why not kick off your vacation of relaxation with your honey with  a bang? And of course the bang is Chick-fil-A.
