For such a small and simple looking chair, it seems like the price is a bit too high. But most of the people were happy to pay a bit more for this chair.  This customer explains her thoughts on the price,

I wasn’t seeing any problems with the material used for the BABYBJORN High Chair. Here a father describes what he thinks of the material used in the making of this high chair,

“It’s made of a composite plastic material that is incredibly easy to wipe off. The table portion can fit right in the dish washer, and it easy to remove.”

Keep in mind that this is a hard seat without cushioning.  Just so long as your child is not in it for prolonged amounts of time, it seems to be fine.  Here is another customer comment on the material,

“The seat is all plastic so if you think it might be hard on your baby, you could put a little pad down, but honestly, I don’t keep our son in it longer than necessary. If space is a premium, consider this chair.”

This high chair weighs 11 pounds with dimensions of 21 x 22 x 33 inches.  Some parents thought it was too small, but others thought it was just right.  Just by looking at the chair, you should notice that it is very compact and that the child will sit snugly in it.  That in fact, is the manufacturers selling point.  The company believes that there will be less mess with it being so compact.

My Conclusion

The BABYBJORN High Chair is one of the higher priced high chairs on the market.  It is very simple in it’s design and folds away compactly.  This high chair is made for a child to fit in it snugly.  A draw back is that some children may outgrow it quickly if they are tall for their age because their knees will hit the tray. Parents liked that the simple design made it easy to clean off.  I hope my review helps you as you look to purchase a high chair in the future.
