Looking to Make an Awesome Entrance at Your Reception?

Browse through these 10 fantastic songs to grab the guest’s full attention!

Different brides want to be remembered for different things. Some want to be remembered for their jaw dropping, ten thousand dollar wedding gown. Others want to be remembered for the food, therefore, they serve the high end steak with all of the fixings, a dessert bar, cake, and food favors of some sort.

There are so many different reasons why brides want to be remembered, whether it be for approval, attention or something else, they just want to be remembered. One of the ways that brides could be remembered by is their music selection.

You’ve already walked down the aisle (if you need some suggestions on processional music, we suggest you check out our song selections by clicking here), you’ve already snapped all of the pictures required by the photographer, and it is now time to enter the reception.

Hold up. What the heck are you supposed to enter into the reception to? A fun, upbeat song? A classy number? A slow composition? Most couples will enter to a more upbeat song, because “Hey! It’s a party! We just got married!”. But whatever it may be and whatever you decide, we have some options listed below that will meet your expectations for picking a reception song!

1. DJ Got Us Falling in Love Again by Usher featuring Pitbull

Usher is always a good option to turn to when you need an upbeat, casual song. Usher belts, “DJ got us falling in love again. So dance, dance like it’s the last, last night of your life, life. Gonna get you right. Cause baby tonight, the DJ got us falling in love again.” So if you want to dance in like it is the last night of your life, then this is the song to do that!

2. Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars

If you want to throw it back (but still keep it modern), this funky Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars number will most definitely do the job for you! If you would even choreograph a little number for the party to dance to, your reception entrance will be one to remember! So get loose and get funky!

3. Shut Up and Dance by WALK THE MOON

One of the biggest dance songs of 2015 is none other than the catchy tune of “SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME”! For some, this may song title might sound threatening. With its catchy lyrics and tune, WALK THE MOON provides a great song to jump around and get excited for when dancing in to your reception entrance!

4. A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got) by Fergie featuring Q-Tip, Goonrock

Featured in the hit motion picture The Great Gatsby, this Fergie number puts a twist on 20’s jazz. Combined with pop, rap, and a 20’s singing style (compliments of Fergie), this mixed song is a unique and fun song to come in to, or possibly make you want to do the Charleston to as well (just kidding).

5. What Makes You Beautiful One Direction Cover by ThePianoGuys

Not only is this cover incredibly cool because they use the piano for all of its capabilities, but this song gives a more classic and calm way to enter into your reception. 9. Forever by Chris Brown

HAPPY THROWBACK  THURSDAY EVERYONE! And if it is not Thursday, then just pretend it is for a second, because this song is exactly that.
