You can earn points every time you shop in store or online by becoming a Dick’s ScoreCard Rewards Member.  Every time you spend $100 you will get 1 point.  When you earn 3 points ($300 of purchases) you can get a $10 gift certificate.  So in a nutshell, every time you spend $300, you will get a $10 gift certificate.

Keeping track of your points is fairly simple.  Just sign on to your online account. Under the “My Points Summary” tab you can view your point balance, see available rewards, and check up on how many points are needed for your next $10 certificate. You can also view previous purchases and see how many points you received for each purchase.

Signing up for a Dick’s Scorecard is simple.  You can either go to their store to sign up or sign up online.  Most of the time, a check out cashier will ask you if you have a Dick’s Sporting Goods Scorecard, and if you don’t, they will ask if you want to sign up for one.

Customer Support

Dick’s Sporting Goods has a customer service section on their website.  Other then the usual complaints, I was not finding anything that stood out too negatively about Dick’s Sporting Good Customer Service.

My Conclusion 

If you already shop at Dick’s Sporting Goods Store, a rewards card may save you some money.  Each time you spend $300, you will get a $10 gift certificate back that can be redeemed either in a store or online.  Just make sure to use your points each year before they expire.  Points expire for good each year on the Sunday closest to January 31st.
